I can't help but feel that excited anticipation for the day we finally get to strap him and Maddy in the back seat and take him home for the first time. It gives me just a glimpse of how Christ must feel as He's waiting for the time He too can bring us home. I can just see Him each day asking the Father, "is it time yet?" I know we still have a while to go, but I can't help but hope for and dream about that day!!
Joshua is starting to really get an appetite. He went up on feedings on Tuesday, from 4 times a day to 8 times a day, and the last two days they have increased the amount of food he's getting. Hopefully that will mean gaining some more weight!!! He was 2 lbs 4 oz!
Derek was able to hold Joshua. He looked so comfy snuggled up on his daddy!
Specifics to pray for:
For him to remember to breathe and have less episodes of forgetting!
He tolerates and digests all the food he is given.
That he will continue to gain weight!
I took another blood test today to make sure my white blood cells are back to normal from the infection, please pray that they are.
That as we have opportunites to tell others about his story, that God will get the glory and that people will come to know Him through his story!
